As we embark on our second decade and the dawn of an entirely new technology for loudspeaker design, what drove us then and drives us today is to create graceful, uncompromised loudspeakers known for their advanced engineering and faithfulness to accurate, emotionally engaging sound reproduction. Eindhoven, often referred to as “Brainport,” is among the most advanced high-tech regions in the world. Ivo is the engineering force behind AEquo Audio, a company based in Eindhoven, Netherlands he co-founded with his close friend and fellow music lover Paul Rassin in 2012. Ivo holds a Post Master's in Tribology, focusing on materials science and mechanical engineering. Ivo’s multi-award-winning loudspeaker designs will continue with the 2024 introduction of a new series of loudspeakers featuring ground-breaking material science enclosure technology incorporating a metal matrix nanotechnology material named Diluvite, owned solely by the Company. These NextGen AEquo loudspeakers include production methods entirely designed in-house by Ivo and his team in a new dedicated facility.
