It is widely acknowledged that different cables carry various types of signals throughout the system, including different frequencies, currents, and voltages. To address this, we have developed 11 distinct structures and designs tailored to each type of cable, ensuring optimal performance.

Our meticulous approach involves optimizing the number of conductors, capacitance, inductance, shielding effectiveness, and transmission speed. This comprehensive design process is not only challenging but also incurs significant costs in both design and manufacturing. However, it is the only way to achieve the WestminsterLab seal of approval.

  • Angus is the Founder and one of two principal partners at WestminsterLab. Angus spent his early years in a high-end repair facility in Hong Kong, repairing and modifying iconic designs from Mark Levinson, Krell, and Goldmund for improved performance. Much of his education took place in the UK, graduating from a prestigious university with a degree in architecture. He started Westminster Lab in 2012 while at university and, as an aspiring architect, was impressed by Westminster Abbey. WestminsterLab’s first product was a high-end USB cable. Today the Company’s offering includes a dozen cable types and a full suite of high-end electronics.

Westminster’s core philosophy is to eliminate all “unessential” components and features, avoid needless distortions and noise, and ensure the WestminsterLab experience is as pure and refined as possible. The Company’s “less is more” approach is foundational to every aspect of the product, from cable and circuit design to industrial and product design and even packaging.
